The warranty described in this document is provided by J-Mac International, LLC (hereinafter “J-Mac”) to the original purchaser of products with a Pro-Gear transmission. Under the warranty outlined below, J-Mac will repair or replace, at it option, any covered external transmission component which is found to be defective in material and/or workmanship during the transmission’s warranty period. Internal transmission components are not covered by this warranty. Under the warranty outlined below, J-Mac will replace a complete transmission, at its option, that has an internal component which is found to be defective in material and/or workmanship during the transmission warranty period. J-Mac will provide a replacement transmission to the dealer at no cost. No cash can be redeemed under this warranty for the transmission. The J-Mac transmission warranty period may be different from the warranty period offered by the manufacturer of the machine from which the transmission was removed. All transmission warranty service must be performed by an authorized J-Mac dealer or service center. Replacement transmission will be provided by factory to dealer. The product owner is responsible for service call and/or transportation of machine or J-Mac transmission to and from a dealer, service center or place of inspection. In addition, the owner of products is responsible for any service work or maintenance required. J-Mac is not responsible for the cost of labor associated with replacing the transmission.
Items Not Warranted
Transmission that have been modified or altered. Components damaged from normal wear, failure to follow the Original Equipment Manufacturers Manual, normal maintenance items, misuse, or accident.
Limitation of Implied and Other Implied Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, J-Mac, nor any of its affiliates make any warranties, representations or promises, written or oral, as to the quality, or performance of Pro-Gear transmission products or any of its components, other than covered by warranty set forth within this document. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ON THIS PAGE IN NO EVENT WILL J-MAC, THE DEALER OR ANY COMPANY AFFILIATED WITH J-MAC BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have rights which vary from state to state.
No Dealer Warranty
No warranty can be made by the selling dealer and the dealer has no authority to make representation or promises on behalf of J-Mac. In addition, the seller or dealer of Pro-Gear transmissions or parts cannot modify the terms or limitations of this warranty in any way.
Warranty Period
Residential Use: 1-year
Commercial Use: 90-days
The terms “residential” and “commercial” are defined by J-Mac and are defined by their intended use, not their actual use by the original purchaser.
